Workshop Cyber Forensics and Questioned Document Examination, NFSU, Bhopal
Recently, I got an incredible opportunity to deliver a lecture on the topic "Cyber Forensics and Questioned Document Examination " NFSU, Bhopal.
The primary aim of the workshop was to make the
students aware of crucial aspects of cyber forensics and QD examination in
solving modern-day crimes.
During my lecture, I emphasized:
- Growing importance of cyber forensics and the
importance it holds in today's digital world
- Various techniques and tools used to
investigate cyber crime, including network forensics, mobile device forensics,
and forensic analysis of digital evidence
- Significance of cyber forensics in tracking down
cyber criminals and securing justice
- Methods used to analyze and authenticate
documents, such as handwriting analysis, ink analysis, and document alteration
detection
- Role of questioned document examiners in
resolving cases involving forged signatures, altered documents, and counterfeit
currency
I also incorporated a few real-life case studies
that showcased the significance of both fields of forensics in deciphering the
truth behind the crime.
Throughout the lecture, I encouraged active
participation from the students so that they got the maximum benefit from the
lecture.
The students eagerly shared their insights and
raised thought-provoking questions, allowing us to explore the topics from
different angles. It was a collaborative learning environment that fostered
critical thinking and deeper understanding.
The students gained valuable insights into the
world of cyber forensics, questioned document examination, and gained a broader
perspective on the complexities involved while investigating digital crimes and
document authenticity.
I would like to extend my heartfelt gratitude to
the organizers at the National Forensic Science University, Bhopal, for
inviting me to deliver this lecture.
The excitement of the students to learn about
and explore the world of cyber forensics, and questioned document examination,
and the hospitality of the staff were remarkable.
I am confident that the knowledge gained by students during the lecture will empower them to make meaningful decisions and contribute to the forensic science field.
