MoU Signing: Sherlock Institute of Forensic Science and School of Allied Sciences, Sharda University
The forensic science field has gained
tremendous popularity in recent years.
And some credit goes to the various
crime-related TV shows and movies that have been released.
However, reality is far different
from what we see on our screens, and the need for highly trained forensic scientists
is more critical than ever before.
To promote research and academic
cooperation in this field, a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed
between the Sherlock Institute of Forensic Science, Delhi, and the School of
Allied Health Sciences, Sharda University.
The MoU signing ceremony was held on
April 26, 2023, at the Sharda University campus, in the presence of the top
management of both institutions.
The ceremony commenced with lamp lighting and an opening address by the Dean, Prof. (Dr.) Sally Lukose of the School of Allied Health Sciences, Sharda University, who spoke about the importance of this collaboration in the field of forensic science.
The dean expressed his excitement and
optimism for the partnership.
This collaboration is a significant
milestone for both institutions, and students and faculty will have a unique
opportunity to:
- Learn from subject-matter specialists
- Exchange information and resources
- Work together on research
initiatives.
- Be a part of internships programs
- Gain real-world skills and experience
It will also enable them to work
together and assist in developing new forensic techniques and methodologies,
leading to a better future for the field and for society as a whole.
I hope this partnership marks a new beginning
that will revolutionize the field of forensic science.
