One of my life’s most pleasurable moments is sharing forensic science knowledge with aspiring forensic professionals. And I am thankful to the Department of Forensic Science, Sage University, for giving me this opportunity.
Sage university offers several up-to-date graduate and post-graduate forensic science courses to produce a skilled workforce of forensic experts. Apart from regular academic studies, they conduct various forensic workshops to acquaint students with practical industry knowledge.
Being in the forensic field for many years, I have gained much practical work-related experience. I was invited to share this practical, real-life experience with their students.
Forensic science students know what it is and have taken up the course to make a career out of it.
However, a basic notion is getting certified and working in the laboratory.
It is wrong.
I equipped students with various other areas
which they can explore as a forensic experts like:
- Teaching
- Research and Development
- Lab assistants
- Entrepreneurship
- Freelancing
- Consulting
Also, I shared the pros and cons of each
profession and how to identify the most suitable for them.
It was a lovely experience interacting with a
group of students at Sage University, Department of Forensic Science.
Also, I had a great time meeting Dr. Kavita Sharma and Swati Dubey Mishra mam of SVVV. Thank you so much for sparing your time for our meeting.
I also got a chance to meet Medicaps University, faculty members.
Thanks, Ashutosh Tripathi, Sir, for
conducting this power-packed workshop.
