The Forensic Science department at GD Goenka University, in collaboration with SIFS India, organized the 1st International Conference on 'Multidisciplinary Approaches in Forensic Science' (ICMAFS 2022) on 13-14 December 2022.
I was the keynote speaker, and it was a proud moment to represent my organization at the international conference.
The conference's primary objective was to bring together industry leaders, students, researchers, scientists, academicians, tech experts, managers, and educators under one roof to share their expertise and knowledge about the latest forensic trends.
The conference served as an interdisciplinary platform for all participants to discuss and share their thoughts on current innovations, future challenges, and practical approaches to problem-solving in forensic science.
The conference also had a poster and oral presentations. The themes covered were:
- Digital forensics
- Questioned documents
- Fingerprint applications
- Forensic medicine and toxicology
- Forensic criminology and psychology
- Crime scene management
The event was highly successful, and each participant gained new knowledge. I wholeheartedly thank GD Goenka University management for organizing such an event and look forward to continuing this knowledge-sharing collaboration.
