I am a lifelong forensic lover and learner. And nothing makes you feel more excited than getting the opportunity to shape the career paths of future forensic experts.
It was a moment of great honor for me to deliver a guest lecture at Kalinga University, Raipur, on May 8, 2023, sharing insights about the ever growing field of forensic science on the topic “Scope and Professional Opportunity in Forensic Science”
I discussed how forensic scientists work, from investigating crime scenes to performing laboratory analysis of the collected evidence and presenting it in court.
The scope of this field for professionals is vast, and the demand for skilled manpower is on the rise.
Along with the lecture, a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) was signed between the Sherlock Institute of Forensic Science and Kalinga University.
The collaboration will result in leveraging the expertise and resources of both institutions and will help us fulfil our dream of providing quality and affordable education and research opportunities for aspiring forensic experts.
I wholeheartedly thank the organizers for this opportunity and look forward to working together to set new standards of excellence in forensic education and deliver benefits to our students, faculty, and society.
