During my visit to RNT University, I got the
opportunity to deliver a guest lecture and share my knowledge with the young
minds on the topic "Forensic Science: Scope and Exposure from Crime Scene
to Courtroom." The lecture was organized by the Department of Physical
Science (Forensic Science) and the Institute of Law.
During my guest lecture, I discussed:
- Application of scientific principles and techniques to investigate crime
- How the evidence analysed can be used in a court of law
- How the suspects are identified and eliminated
- Determination of the cause and manner of crime
- Challenges faced by forensic scientists
- Need for continuous research and development in
the field.
Also, after the lecture, a MoU was signed
between the Sherlock Institute of Forensic Science and the RNT University. This MoU
is the beginning of a long-term relationship between the two institutions,
promoting academic and scientific collaborations for the betterment of society.
This MoU signifies the commitment of both
institutions to work together to promote academic and scientific
collaborations.
The MoU opens up opportunities for:
- Joint research projects
- Student and faculty exchange programs
- Sharing of resources and expertise
The collaboration has immense potential for the advancement of forensic science in India.
The joint research projects can contribute to
the development of new forensic techniques and technologies that assist law
enforcement agencies in solving complex cases.
The student and faculty exchange programs can
help in the exchange of ideas and knowledge, leading to a better understanding
of the nuances of forensic science.
It was a memorable experience delivering a
lecture at the university and signing an MOU with them. I hope this partnership
will open up new avenues for research and development and contribute to the
betterment of society.
