In the ever-evolving world of forensic science, staying abreast of the latest trends and challenges is crucial for aspiring forensic experts.


On the 27th of May 2023, at 6 p.m., I had the privilege of delivering an online expert session titled "Forensic Science: Recent Trends & Challenges—A Multidisciplinary Prospect." This enlightening session, organized by Holy Cross College Agartala in collaboration with my prestigious Sherlock Institute of Forensic Science, aimed to equip students about the dynamic landscape of forensic science.


The session not only captivated the attendees but also empowered them with a deeper understanding of the field's multidisciplinary nature.

 

I commenced the discussion by emphasizing the multidisciplinary nature of the field and highlighting how forensic experts collaborate with professionals from various disciplines such as chemistry, biology, physics, and psychology.


This collaborative approach allows for a holistic investigation of crime scenes and the analysis of evidence, resulting in more accurate conclusions.

 

I then discussed the recent trends that are revolutionizing the future of forensic science and the way criminal investigations will take place.

 

Moreover, during the session, I also addressed the emergence of digital forensics as a prominent field within forensic science. With the ever-increasing use of technology, digital evidence has become an integral part of criminal investigations.
