Sharda University has made a mark in the
education arena since its inception with the primary objective of producing a
skilled workforce in biomedical sciences.
Since its inception, it has diversified into
several other domains and offers graduate, postgraduate, and Ph. D. programs in
Forensic Science.
The courses equip students with specialized
skills and make them job-ready with an in-depth understanding of scientific
crime investigation methods.
To spread mass awareness in forensics, SSAHS
announced the 2nd International Forensic Forum 2022, held on November 21, 22,
& 23, in hybrid mode at the School of Allied Health Sciences, Sharda
University, Greater Noida.
Several forensic professionals, lawyers,
students, and research scholars got to come together and share the advancements
in this field.
I was invited to deliver an expert talk on Entrepreneurship in Forensic Science: Beyond the Laboratory on 23rd November.
Forensic entrepreneurship needs to be talked
about more. It holds immense significance. The path is too challenging but also
rewarding.
I emphasized upon:
- Why forensic experts need to develop
entrepreneurial skills
- How business skills can make forensic experts
a better decision maker
- What changes can they bring to the way
forensic services are delivered to the clients
The event also had thought-provoking talks by
other forensic experts and a poster presentation by the participants
representing various Forensic Science organizations.
