Effective communication reduces conflict, helps you deliver your message clearly, and enhances healthy workplace relationships.
However, it is the most ignored soft skill even today.
Individuals must focus on acquiring this skill, and companies should conduct workshops to enhance the communication skills of their employees.
However, there is still a massive ignorance
among people.
They either need to be made aware of its importance or interested in acquiring it.
To spread awareness about this soft skill and
the value it can add to your personal and professional life, Govt. Holkar
College with SIFS India organized an online workshop on Effective
Communication.
It was open to people like:
- Managers who would like to communicate better
with their staff
- Team leaders who want to supervise the team
effectively for extraordinary results
- People who are afraid of public speaking or talking to their colleagues or boss
- And anyone who wants to convey their message precisely to the world.
I was one of the several speakers:
- Dr. Shubhra Sanyal
- Prof. (Dr.) Abha Singh
- T Raja Balaji IPS
- Phaneendar B N
- Dr. Ameeta Parsuram
- Mr. K.C. Ghosh
- Dr. Asha Srivastava.
I broke down the communication elements into bite-sized topics to make it easier for the participants to grasp and learn the art of effective communication and create a better and healthier environment at their workplace and socially.
