4th International Forensic Science Conference: A Journey of Forensic Excellence
It gives me immense joy to share a glimpse of the 3-day-long 4th International Forensic Science Conference from December 1, 2023, to December 3, 2023, as an organizer in collaboration with:
- University of the Philippines, Manila
- University of Baguio, Philippines
- Holy Angel University, Philippines
- Tarlac State University, Philippines
- Lyceum of the Philippines University.
It was my first experience organizing an offline conference that brought together the expertise and passion of forensic experts from all over the globe on one platform, enlightening young minds.
The collaborative efforts of my co-organizer Phaneendar BN, CEO Clue4 Evidence Forensic Lab, Bengaluru, distinguished chief guests, and SIFS team made this conference a huge success and a memory of a lifetime. Their commitment to advancing forensic knowledge was commendable.
Inaugural Speeches, Lamp Lighting Ceremony, and Awards
The conference began with a brief introduction to our esteemed organizers, and chief guests and their insightful speeches, followed by a symbolic lamp lighting ceremony, signifying the enlightenment that forensic science brings to society.
Felicitation ceremony followed this, where chief guests along with eminent figures from the forensic fraternity were awarded for their indispensable contribution, relentless dedication, and tireless efforts towards their profession.
It was a moment of recognition to celebrate the collaborative spirit that accelerated the conference’s success.
An Academic Adventure: Lectures, Papers, and Posters
The three days of the conference witnessed several insightful lectures by forensic experts and scholars from around the globe.
The lectures covered a wide range of forensic domains including:

- Fingerprint

These sessions captivated the attention of attendees with the depth of expertise that each speaker brought, leaving an inerasable mark on the collective consciousness of the audience.
Along with this, students and professionals from various colleges and universities took part in paper and poster presentations (both online and offline) that covered a wide spectrum of forensic disciplines.
The environment was filled with the excitement of the presenters who came to showcase their research and findings related to this dynamic field.
The participants were judged by our eminent jury, and on the final day of the conference, the winners were awarded with trophies and certificates as a recognition of their efforts.
Sustenance for the Mind: Breaks and Lunch
In the midst of an intellectual feast, the importance of nurturing the body cannot be ignored. The breaks provided an opportunity for attendees to engage with each other, and make connections that transcended borders.
Closing Ceremony
Finally, the 4th International Forensic Science Conference, a gala of shared knowledge and collaboration, came to an end with thank-you notes from the organizers and chief guests.
The event was not merely a gathering but a collective pursuit of truth, justice, and the never-ending quest to uncover the mysteries that lie beneath the surface.
Each presentation, each speech, and each connection formed contributed to an experience that transcended geographical boundaries.
As the organizer, it was a humble experience for me to witness the convergence of like-minded people for the upliftment of humanity.
As we bid farewell to this extraordinary gathering, we carry with us the torch of enlightenment, ignited by the collective passion and dedication of forensic scientists, researchers, and enthusiasts from around the world. Until we meet again at the 5th International Forensic Science Conference to inspire generations to come.
